BCRPA, in partnership with the BC Municipal Safety AssociationWorkSafeBCLifesaving Society and CUPE BC, is proud to present the PoolSafe BC course.

PoolSafe Bc is a workplace risk management course, designed to help employers decrease the number of preventable injuries in the workplace in order to help mitigate the various costs associated with workplace injuries. 

The PoolSafe BC Course is intendend for use by all professionals working in or around pools to help them understand the real risks of their workplace and know their rights and responsibilities as employees and workers.


Course Format

The course is available as a traditional workshop, as well as in an online format.

Learn Online

The PoolSafeBC course can be taken online at BCRPA's eLearning website. The online format takes between 3 to 4 hours to complete and participants can start and stop at their convenience.  Participants can print their own Certificate of Completion from the site after successfully completing the course and exam.

Learn in a Workshop

In-person workshops are 8 hours in duration. Participants will receive a course material binder.
