Spaces and Faces

BCRPA is embarking on a very exciting initiative called "Spaces and Faces". This project aims to document the number of recreation spaces and visits by British Columbians each year and to inventory and map the types and locations of all municipal recreation facilities (indoor and outdoor) and municipal/regional parks.

With this data in hand we will be able to create a quantified picture of your impact on recreation in BC; illustrating the breadth and power of your regional government's reach, influence and impact within communities throughout the Province.

Recreation Directors were asked to complete two surveys: one indoor survey to be completed for each indoor facility, and one outdoor survey for all the outdoor spaces that your local government manages. 

Once this information is collected and compiled it will be shared with members and accessible online.
